EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique
Tapping = Acupressure

EFT Tapping is an acuPRESSURE technique that works on the same meridian central nervous system points that ancient Chinese medicine has targeted with acupuncture for thousands of years. The meridian points are key spots in your energetic network that move “qi”– your vital life energy – through your body. Instead of needles, we use our fingers to tap these qi points, activating them with light pressure. 

The tapping action is accompanied by a specific dialogue that acknowledges the challenge you are experiencing and creates acceptance + self-compassion. Combining the acupressure with reassuring self-talk allows you to move and sooth a difficult energetic wave. You also get an opportunity to reframe and reprogram – this is the moving energy with intention component!

How to do EFT Tapping

1 Choose your tapping topic: what are you tapping on today? Identify both the challenge your are facing and how you would like to reframe the situation to intentionally move your energy and reprogram your subconscious. 

For example: maybe you had an argument with someone you love. You might want to tap on feeling angry and choose to shift your energy into a vibration of love or forgiveness. 

Another example: maybe you are feeling nervous about a big presentation and you want to reframe your emotion as excitement and give yourself an “I’ve got this!” pep talk. 

2 Pick your spot: Try to find a place where you won’t be disturbed and can sit comfortably with your back straight. But, friend, I’ve hidden in the bathroom and tapped on a toilet seat in an emergency before so don’t be too strict! 😉

3 Arrive: Close your eyes gently, or focus your gaze on a single point in front of you.  Take a few deep breaths and bring your total presence to the moment. Invoke your highest self to guide you.  

4 Tap! Let’s do this 🙌
Here are the nine primary EFT Tapping points. You’ll tap lightly on each one with just enough pressure that your body feels the activation. 

EFT Tapping Points from Mental Health Rebels

EFT Tapping Points:

  1. Top of Head Point: Located at the very crown of your head.
  2. Eyebrow Point: Located at the beginning of your eyebrow, right above the bridge of your nose.
  3. Side of Eyes Point: Located on the outer corner of your eye, just beside your eyebrow bone.
  4. Under Eye Point: Located directly under the center of your eye, on the bone.
  5. Nose Point: Located midway between the bottom of your nose and your upper lip.
  6. Chin Point: Located on the indentation in your chin.
  7. Collarbone Point: Located about an inch below your collarbone, on either side of your breastbone.
  8. Underarm Point: Located about four inches below your armpit, on the fleshy part of your side.
  9. Wrist Point: Tap the inside of both your wrists together. 

5 The script: 
As you tap, you’ll use this dialogue:

  • “Even though [INSERT challenge or feeling you are experiencing here] I still deeply love, accept, respect and forgive myself…”

This script is powerful because you are acknowledging your challenge in a non-judgemental way. Then you also tell your system that it’s ok! You’ve still got your own back, you still love and accept yourself despite this challenge. 

6 The reframe: EFT Tapping gets into your subconscious mind, so it’s an amazing tool to reprogram your system. If you’re reprogramming, you get to choose! So follow up your challenge with the reframe or attitude adjustment you want to make: 

  • “And I know I am capable of [INSERT your best here!]”
  • “Right now I’m making the choice to change [INSERT your new choice here]”
  • “Instead I choose to feel [INSERT your attitude adjustment here]”
  • “So I let [XYZ challenge] go and free myself to move on and thrive”

7 Repeat! You can tap for three minutes or 30 minutes. Talk through the challenges you are experiencing for at least three rounds. Give yourself a pep talk with the reframe for at least three more rounds. This is YOUR session, there are no real “rules.” Let your creative juices flow, turn on your imagination and ENJOY. You should feel a marked improvement in your mood and attitude by the time you’re done.

Coaching Agreement & Terms of Participation

Mental Health Rebels LLC

Welcome! I am looking forward to working with you as your coach. The purpose of this Agreement is to set a professional foundation for working together so we’re both clear on expectations for practical details. I want to ensure that our time will be positive, productive, and comfortable.

By enrolling in any coaching program with Mental Health Rebels LLC, you agree to the following terms. Please read this information carefully.

1. Nature of Coaching

  • Coaching is a supportive, growth-oriented relationship. It may include live calls, group sessions, exercises, reflection practices, and resources.
  • Coaching is not medical advice, therapy, counseling, or psychiatric care. Your coach is not a doctor, therapist, or licensed medical professional.
  • All information provided is for educational and spiritual growth purposes only.

2. Your Responsibility

  • You are fully responsible for your health, choices, and results.
  • If you are under the care of a medical provider or taking medication, consult your provider before making any changes.
  • Participation in coaching is voluntary, and you assume all risks associated with it.

3. Payment & Refunds

  • Payment is required at enrollment.
  • Your payment represents a full commitment to the program’s duration.
  • If payment options are offered, you commit to making all payments for the full program regardless of participation or completion.
  • All sales are final. Due to the planning and energy involved in coaching, no refunds are available.

4. Scheduling & Attendance

  • Sessions (individual or group) will be held at the agreed-upon times.
  • Missed or no-show sessions are considered forfeited and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
  • For group programs, session replays may or may not be provided depending on the program structure.

5. Confidentiality, Privacy & Community Conduct

  • Your coach will treat all information you share with care and respect, keeping your personal details private except as required by law.
  • In group programs, confidentiality among participants cannot be guaranteed. By joining, you agree to respect the privacy and stories of fellow participants and not share their personal information outside the group.
  • All participants are expected to engage respectfully and constructively. Disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.

6. Program Materials & Media

  • All program content, methods, and resources are the property of Mental Health Rebels LLC and provided for your personal use only. They may not be copied, shared, distributed, or repurposed without written permission.
  • Any personal work, insights, or creative output you generate during coaching remains your intellectual property.
  • From time to time, the coach may record sessions or share anonymized insights for educational or promotional purposes. Anything shared publicly will not include any personally identifiable detail unless you explicitly consent otherwise.
  • At the end of a program, you may be invited to share a testimonial. If you choose to provide one, it may be shared with your name, location, and age unless you request otherwise.

7. Disclaimer & Release of Liability

  • There are many factors that influence results, so no guarantees can be made as to the exact results you will experience. You agree that the coach is not responsible for your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, for your financial earnings or losses, or for any other result or outcome that you may experience. 
  • Nothing related to coaching is intended to be considered medical, mental health, legal, financial, or religious advice, nor is it intended to replace the expertise, care, judgment or guidance of your own medical or mental health practitioners, clergy members, accountants, attorneys or financial advisors. 
  • Coaching shares general information, not personalized recommendations. It is not preventing, treating, curing any medical or mental health disease, condition or ailment. For specific questions related to a medical or mental health situation, consult your own medical or mental health professional. For specific questions related to your financial, legal or tax situation, consult your own attorney, accountant, and/or financial advisor.

General Release

You agree to release and hold harmless Mental Health Rebels LLC, its owner, and partners from any claims or damages related to your participation in coaching or related programs.

Partnership with Root + Ritual

  • For programs that include microdosing iboga chocolates, these are produced and sold independently by Root + Ritual, a Mexican company and registered psychedelic church in the USA.
  • Mental Health Rebels, LLC, does not sell, source, or handle any substances or supplements, and is not involved in any aspect of administration or delivery of iboga or ibogaine. 
  • Mental Health Rebels assumes no liability for the production, shipping, or effects of Root + Ritual products.

If you choose to work with microdose chocolates, you must complete Root + Ritual’s self-screening process, which includes an agreement to their terms and conditions.

Iboga and ibogaine 

For coaching that accompanies work with iboga or ibogaine, you acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to:

  • Fully research the risks of iboga and ibogaine and make an informed decision as to whether it is appropriate and safe for you to work with these substances based on your personal health history and current health condition. 
  • Consult and work with a qualified medical professional in the case of any concerns.
  • Select a provider or source that meets your safety and legal standards.
  • Monitor your own physical wellbeing and seek emergency medical help if necessary.

8. Non-Disparagement

  • Should you have any concerns about your program, you agree to bring them directly to Mental Health Rebels in a mature and professional manner.
  • You agree not to make any false, negative, or disparaging statements in public (including social media) about Mental Health Rebels, its programs, or its facilitators.
  • This clause does not prevent you from sharing your honest opinions in required legal settings such as arbitration, or when otherwise required by law.

9. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, illness, war, terrorism, labor strikes, civil disturbances, health or travel restrictions, quarantines, or government orders — which make it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible for the coach to perform obligations under this Agreement, Mental Health Rebels shall not be held liable. Performance will be excused for the duration of such circumstances without penalty.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, where Mental Health Rebels LLC is licensed. Any disputes will be resolved first by good-faith discussion, and if necessary, through binding arbitration in Santa Fe County, New Mexico.

11. Acknowledgement

By checking the box at checkout and completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this Agreement.
